Who: Academy youth
What: A BioBlitz is an intensive biodiversity survey of a specific location by a group of people (career scientists, educators, students, families, whoever). This is the first ever Academy all-youth BioBlitz!
Where: California Academy of Sciences
When: 9am - 1pm (more details below under schedule)
Why: Investigate your surroundings, connect with new species of flora and fauna, get research-grade observations for science, and have a blast conducting science outside with friends. There will be prizes for the top observers of the day.
