To survey the plants of this area around Rose Creek and Italian Bar Rd., that's the main idea here. Critters and mushrooms and insects and whatever would be great to include, too.

I've spent a lot of time out there the last 20 years and have been wanting to do a comprehensive plant survey. iNaturalist seems like a great way to organize that, invite participation, and share the info.

This is for observations roughly in the area on the map here, centered on the 3000 foot elevation area. Doesn't have to be super strictly within that area, but things that are lower than about 2000 feet in elevation, or higher than 5000-ish, for example, probably shouldn't go in this project. The area I'm thinking of is rich with species that come just down about to ~3000 feet from the high mountains, and others that come up to just about this high from lower foothills and the valley.
