Earth Day is an annual day on which events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection, and in celebration, students at the University of California, Berkeley have teamed up with community members to conduct a BioBlitz study on Mount Diablo.
Please join volunteer scientists, families, students, teachers, and other community members on Sunday, APRIL 21st for the Mount Diablo BioBlitz 2013, an all-day biotic survey of organisms living on Mount Diablo and the surrounding area. This is the first annual survey and over time will provide valuable data of the area.
