This project is designed to support the student learning objectives for a field course at Oregon State University (BOT 425/525 Flora of the Pacific Northwest). Learning outcomes include: increased student knowledge of the terminology involved in the identification of vascular plants; improvement of students' ability to use identification keys; familiarity with the local flora; improvement of students' observation skills; development of ability to communicate about plants; and sight-recognition of about 30 vascular plant families. menos ↑
