Smile! You're on Remote Camera - Austin, Texas

The purpose of this project is to group together observations of wildlife in the greater Austin, Texas area made with remote cameras or microphones. The rising popularity of game cameras, doorbell cameras, home security cameras, and remote microphones present an exciting opportunity to observe wildlife when humans aren't around (non-human observations only, please).

This project is conducted in conjunction with the Urban Wildlife Information Network (UWIN). UWIN is a partnership of worldwide researchers to understand the ecology and behavior of urban wildlife species. This portion of the project is supported and moderated in collaboration with researchers from Texas Parks and Wildlife, the City of Austin Parks and Recreation, St. Edward's University, The Nature Conservancy, and Huston Tillotson University. menos ↑
