UTEP Biodiversity Collections Observations

Welcome to UTEP Biodiversity Collections Project. Natural history collecting began with direct observation of the natural world in many cases by people with little or no scientific background. "Citizen science" continues this tradition and new technologies make it easier than ever for non-scientists to contribute to scientific knowledge.
