Fruiting in woodchips/gravel along cement curb line. Most abundant flushes within 10ft of street lamps. Construction/paving/landscaping began along this busy street during summer of 2021. I noted location and returned here today(5/1/22) to find numerous flushes of M. importuna along the cement edging(most abundant, clustered fruits beneath street lamps). 
Note the vertically arranged/ladder like pits.
Harvested multiple specimens for culinary use. Dehydrated a single bisected specimen for herbarium collection.
