• Found resting on the lid of a bottle in the garden.
• Body length approximately 14mm.
• Body a shiny metallic green colour with the posterior end of the abdomen blue.
• Body surface pitted.
• Antennae constantly moving.
• When a leaf was held next to it, it moved onto the leaf, walking over its surface. Then cleaned the anterior end of its body before flying off.

A long tongue bee found zipping from flower to flower. Black in colour with brownish wings. Body length ~8mm. No in focus shot of a whole bee unfortunately but I post separate shots of the important parts that are:-) and an out of focus shot of the bee as a whole :-(
