Robinson River. White Oak canyon. Lower areas of Shenandoah National Park. At least 10 inch long male. Catch and Release.

Caught a pair of six inch brookies in this pool between 8:30 and 9am. One had clearer parr marks than the other.
I had a couple of follows in another lower pool from brookies about the same size.

They say that northern brook trout are less colorful than southern Appalachian brookies but these had wonderful red, yellow, and blue spots and rosy pink bellies instead of orange bellies.
