In hills East of Kalakamati; bush multi-stemmed bush to 3 m; lvs simple, ent, sl rough, with attenuate apex, sl leathery; in whorls of three! with woolly stubs at base; stems yellow-grey with lenticels. Not a good specimen, but distinctive plant! Prob NOT Pollichia
~35 km South of Kazungula; tree by roadside; large rough lobed lvs;
nr Domboshaba Lodge, Masunga; shady tree with rough, large lobed lvs; central vein below has slit or gland about one third way along.
~1km East of Gweta: common small tree with distinctive bark, snaking dark strips revealing bright orange under-bark; flowers white but unpleasant smelling.
Masama Bush Camp; sandy terrain near hills. Small tree with pretty purple flowers, but spiky growth; lvs oval, smooth, tufted; venation not obvious; bark fairly smooth, light grey.
