The location is given as a point with a very large circle of uncertainty.
These organisms were photographed during a journey with the regular ferry from Puerto Williams, through the Beagle Channel, a short trip on the Pacific Ocean and thereafter through the Magellan Strait to Punta Arenas. The journey lasts 30 hours. The departure from Puerto Williams was at midnight (00:00). However, my camera clock was 03:00. So, If you subtract 03:00 from the time the photo was taken, you get the distance in time for the ferry transport. Example: The first Giant Kelp was photographed 5:41 PM. That means 17:41-03:00=14:41. So, the photo was taken 14 hours and 41 minutes after departure. I am sorry for this stupid way of giving positions, but I hope that the observations will have a value at least for the IT training of the automatic image recognition.
