I only had a brief look but the song it gave is consistent with several other recordings on XC of this species.
A pair have been observed at 2 pm in a thick Rhododendron undergrowth.
Belford's Melidectesis heard commonly throughout while Smoky Honeyeater's repetitive chips can be heard faintly towards the end.
Lesser Melampitta calls twice in the middle of the cut.
The first call is distant, the reply call is much better at the end.
