Not sure of ID. Was told these were taatahi. And the Herpetological Society website says they are genetically distinct from the shore skinks on the east coast. But i can't find the species name they refer to on iNat. This is about the 7th of these found around Glinks Gully in recent years. Small brown lizard with a narrow head and neck. Has shiny scales.

I sampled quite a few berries. Must find out what it's nutritional status is.
