Mute Swan

I was walking around Chestnut Hill reservoir and found these Mute Swan swimming around and grabbing food. From my observation, they appeared to be living in the wild because it would not make sense to force the swan to live in an area that does not fit their environment. They appeared to live naturally and peacefully. I chose the swan because they are a perfect example of a wild organism that lives in the natural world, such as living in ponds, reservoirs, and ponds.

Pine Tree Reserve walk

It was a windy and cold afternoon when I walked around Pine Tree Reserve for about 34 minutes. There were many different types of plants and species, and my first finding was a white wood aster. It is one of many aspects that make up biodiversity. As I continued exploring on a trail, I came across my first sighting of a chipmunk, which was passing by, and heard many crickets chirping all around me. It was a satisfying and wonderful experience as I continued to see various plants, species, rocks, and the fresh smell of the air. Since I grew up in a city, this is the first time I recognized that this particular moment is an example of cultural ecosystem service.
