Leiocephalus carinatus (Northern Curly-tailed Lizard)

Northern Curly Tailed lizard negative to the Bahamas the Cuba, Cayman Islands in Cuba. These lizards have become an invasive species and are also found in South Florida. The average Northern Curly tailed lizard can grow to the size of 10 inches from head to tail. They also have a very strange instinct when The animal is put down or being handled it plays dead meaning the animal becomes emotionless for a short period of time. They also eat small creatures like mouths, ants, beetles, and sometimes other small lizards.
