Known population beginning to emerge along sandy bank of creek. Not as extensive as I have seen it in previous years, however this may be due to it not being very conspicuous yet. First photo is probably my favourite little patch—it always appears so photogenic at the base of that maple tree.

About half a dozen in flower. Thuja occidentalis swamp. Mild spell recently (5°C on this day, 12°C day previous), although it is supposed to be getting colder in the coming days.
