Heard some other herp enthusiasts yell "SNAKE" and turned towards where they were to see this beauty swimming around. Pretty cool to see two nerodia lifers in one day!

Stopped by the edge of the path to blow my nose when I saw this tiny guy slithering up a long piece of grass to try and get into a tree. I obviously grabbed it for pics and let it in the tree.

LIFER!
Ended up seeing two people way in front of us squat down and look like they were trying to scare something off. Well it looked like they were unsuccessful and started walking towards us and told us there was a "copperhead" on the side of the path. Ended up just being this sluggish snake. I ended up moving it into a more favorable location where it could bask and not be attacked by ignorant people.
