A number of mosquitoes were buzzing around people in the shade under ornamental trees. The setting is a home in dry-side rural subdivision at about 200 meters elevation. The mosquitoes have been very prevalent here for the past few weeks since the rains.

Located in dry stream bed with keawe trees and buffle grass, approximately 500 meters from nearest residence. The markings are somewhat indistinct, but it definitely has two small white bars on the sides of the thorax.
