Von Wanderern gefragt welche gelbe Blumen hier wachsen, machte ich den Vorschlag, eine Beobachtung hochzuladen.

An old beech tree, which lost its top part as the wood is decaying.
See my earlier presentation when the beech had its crown in 2017 at https://www.monumentaltrees.com/en/aut/styria/grazumgebung/15245_hoaterberggipfelbeischrems/28694/

Apparemtly spreading and wildering in the area of the former botanical collection named Alpengarten Frohnleiten. This tree had been cut, perhaps having been mixed up with even more, invasively spreading Ailanthus altissima I do suspect this was Phellodendron amurense but am not sure of the species roght now. There are apparently not yet mature fruits, i may not reach, at least not easily.

Report splitted from the prior one of Dryopteris expansa upon the kind revision and advice by @alexanderwuensche
I had not expected both related, the most similar species' to grow there side by side. Best thanks to Alexander!
It is about the left fern visible at photos no. 2+3, while the right one is D. expansa.

Likely that type of the apomictic group. Growing to huge, man-tall clumps at the wet, instable soil, which consistently pours down to the creek.
