Parking lot still popping out fruits. This is the latest I've seen them in the year in this location. This year has also been the most prolific. This spot is literally adjacent to a parking stall and multiple people step over this patch on the daily.

Saw them in the rain wet at first. Initially I was sure they were allenii, but after picking one and not seeing any blueing I was less convinced they were even psilocybes. Also looks slightly different from other allenii I've been finding around here. However the spore print is purple, and they sure look similar to little pumpkin seeds. Is this unmistakeable psilocybe? I have noticed light blueing (I think) on subsequent days. Maybe ovoids? I haven't found a patch of ovoids yet. Edit: went back and picked a few. Most of them rotten already, but unmistakeable blueing. 10 feet from store entrance. Probably 100 people walk past this patch a day at least. Wish I had collected more fresh. At least I have spores.

Same patch on skyline I've been monitoring for a few years now. First big rain of the year was last weekend, so right on cue. Collected only a tiny portion, left large majority for the slugs. Edit: went back two days later and the whole patch is gone. Bummer.
