I got my PhD in history, but have left academia for interpretation. I am currently a Interpretation and Visitor Engagement Educator at the Missouri Botanical Garden, though I have also worked at the St. Louis Zoo. Educating people about endangered species and natural phenomena has led to me getting interested in identification and observation as a hobby.
