I am from NE Florida and I was lucky to grow up fishing and exploring outside. I went to the University of Florida where I got a B.S. in Forestry. After college, I lived for two years in Madagascar with Peace Corps and for one year in Chicagoland Illinois. Every year that goes by I find myself more interested in natural history and plants.

I enjoy identifying trees and herbaceous plants. I also enjoy gardening ornamentals and vegetables. With iNaturalist I hope to learn more about the plants and ecology of Florida.
