I've been casually identifying flowers, birds and the occasional bug in the wild for decades. Other animals, too but they MOVE so they're a little harder to track. :-)
I've been unemployed recently and it's given me the opportunity to pursue my love of the outdoors and identifying its residents on a much more regular basis. Quite happy about it!
