I'm a botanist and ecologist who likes to dabble in all areas of natural history.

Originally from Illinois, I reside in Kentucky and am a botanist with Kentucky Nature Preserves. I also lived in Colorado for several years where I worked for several land management agencies there including the Colorado Natural Areas Program. My experience has given me broad botanical experience in several regions of North America.
