Interested in ecology, taxonomy and systematics, biogeography and phylogeography, and natural history

My current main research interests are in herpetology
evolution and systematics, especially thinking about species
concepts and cryptic species.
On the side I am interested in botany and mycology, entomology and geology
I am careful with my ID's, but can still make mistakes,
feel free to correct me.

Currently working with the UCSD Center on Global Justice in
partnership with Vivero Hormiguitas to further environmental
justice with the use of native plants. Conducting invertebrate
sampling in the vivarium using invertebrates as ecological
indicators to assess ecological function.
