I am a naturalist actively involved during my free time in the preservation of an area of Montado (Quercus rotundifolia savannah) situated at the heart of the Special Protection Area PTZPE0056 devoted to steppe birds (Little Bustard, Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Stone Curlew,...). The Farm - Monte das Cebolas - is located in the village of Campinho (Reguengos de Monsaraz, Alentejo, Portugal). I have been doing birding, entomology, botany, etc. since the age of 8, and was especially active at the end of the last century in managing the limestone grassland area of Les Spinets (Marche-en-Famenne, Belgium) and in observing grasshoppers, among other things.
