I am an avid naturalist and horticulturist by hobby in the New York tri-state area. Because I enjoy hiking, most of my experience is with local flora, including things from mundane weeds to large trees and invasive species. One of my other interests is in the applications of plants, primarily their edibility, and as a result, their toxicity or basic medicinal value. I use a Swift sw350t 40x-2500x for microscopy.
