I am a naturalist based in Orlean, Virginia. I am the Executive Director of the Clifton Institute (http://www.cliftoninstitute.org), an environmental organization and research station on 900 acres near Warrenton, VA. I focus on improving land management in the Virginia Piedmont and I'm especially interested in native grasslands. Email me if you'd like to check out our plants and animals and help with the Clifton Institute Biodiversity Inventory iNat project (https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/clifton-institute-biodiversity-inventory). Thank you for any help you can provide with identifications for this project! We are slowly keying things out, but giving us a starting place (e.g. family) is really helpful.

I am an ornithologist by training (conservation of Southeast Asian and Neotropical birds), but I'm interested in pretty much everything, especially dragonflies, butterflies, salamanders, and grassland plants.
