I study ants and their interactions with other organisms. Specific interest in ants associated with ant-plants (myrmecophytes), especially the Vachellia (Acacia) drepanolobium system of East Africa. Building familiarity with N. American, Caribbean and Neotropical ants more broadly. Currently based in Mississippi and Puerto Rico.
