I enjoy learning about the plants, animals, and fungi that I see around me. I am most interested in arachnids and insects at the moment, particularly anything in the order Lepidoptera.
I ID lepidoptera from the rank order into families in the United States and Canada. I also ID insects that are stuck at rank pterygota. I have recently started to explore the superfamily Tenthredinoidea (typical sawflies) for identification.
