I'm a grad student, studying distribution and diversity of Southeast Asian birds at the LSU Museum of Natural History. When I'm not doing that, I roam around southern Louisiana and beyond doing my best to experience southeastern biodiversity in all its forms. I'm originally from California, and have traveled extensively through Asia, Mexico, South America, and a bit of Africa. Although my focus has always been on birds, I'm interested in many different taxa, and I love finding localized endemic taxa.

I'm a very active eBirder, so most of my bird sightings end up there. I have posted a few sightings here on iNat, as well as dead birds, nests, or other sightings not appropriate for eBird. My profile can be viewed at:
