I have always enjoyed the outdoors and was a biology major in college. I did not continue in biology after college and instead, practiced business law for over 25 years. I am now retired. I am a lifelong birder, and have traveled to do so over the years but the pandemic has kept me stuck at home since March 2020. I occasionally contribute sightings to eBird but I am not a devotee of that database. For something new to do during the pandemic, my daughter suggested that I try contributing to the Minnesota Bee Atlas. She made this suggestion to me in late July 2020 and I really enjoy it. I am looking forward to finding bumble bees during a whole life cycle season in 2021. I am also looking forward to the end of the pandemic.
