I'm a Texas Master Naturalist with 20+ years in the program. I'm also a native Texan and a long-time nature nerd, albeit very much a generalist in that respect. I'm mostly into mammals and birds but I also love herps and butterflies. I don't proclaim to be an expert on anything, but I know a lot of experts!

I live in The Colony across the street from Corps of Engineers land on Lewisville Lake, in Denton County. I'm at the edge of the Blackland Prairie and my front yard is mostly native plants so I've been able to attract a good number of species. The grackles and starlings just don't know what to do with my yard so they mostly avoid it!
