I have always been interested, part of, or active in the nature. But it wasn't until a few years ago, that I had more time and desire to study and have a better understanding of it. I prefer to study streams and river ecology, with wetlands and vernal pools as a close runner up. I do photography for Ohio Natural Areas and Preserves(a lot of time photographing flora), Scenic Stream Quality monitoring for Ohio Division of Watercraft and a level 1 QDC/HWHP for the EPA. I belong to Ohio Biological Survey, which is where I discovered this great site.
