I'm the Wildfire and Community Resilience Planner for the Okanogan Conservation District, leading the district's wildfire, forestry, and air quality programs. I previously worked as a naturalist and educator at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park in Eatonville, WA (2012-2022), doing everything from driving trams to developing programming relating to ethology and the history of American conservation.

I'm a WSU graduate with a BS in wildlife conservation and ecology with a forestry minor, and an MS in Environmental Science, specializing in wildfire and forest management policy and the human dimensions of natural resource management. During my time at WSU, I served as the president of the WSU Forestry Club/Society of American Foresters and as vice president of the WSU Wildlife Society. I hold a Level 1 CyberTracker Certification.

I've worked hands-on with grizzly bears and have worked in close proximity to most of the large mammals of North America in captive settings. I've traveled quite extensively through most of the western United States, the Southeast, and British Columbia. Today I spend most of my time working and recreating at the crossroads of the North Cascades, Northern Rockies, and Columbia Pleaute in Okanogan County, WA.
