Postdoctoral Research Associate with the University of Maine, PhD from the University of Arkansas with JD Willson, and unapologetic toadman. Research has focused on investigating the impacts of historic land use and current management practices on herps at species-specific and assemblage scales in multiple systems, long-term monitoring of snake communities and associated population modeling, assessing the viability of solar energy fields as wildlife habitat, box turtle physiology, thermal ecology, and translocation strategies, quantification of biases in herp sampling methodologies, and pygmy rattlesnake foraging ecology, among other things. Current work is focused on using integrated population modeling to examine spatially explicit golden-winged warbler population dynamics.
