I have a website/blog at the FunGalForager.com where I talk about my adventures foraging for mushrooms and other wild foods in Idaho, the Mountain West and beyond. I'm always out puttering around in the woods and by-ways so I thought this would be a good place to share some observations. I'm better at mushroom ID than plants, but I'm always trying to learn more.

I joined our local mycological association (SIMA - the Southern Idaho Mycological Association) back in 2008 and have been humbled by all there is to learn in the world of mycology ever since.
