Not an expert at anything, enthusiastic about everything, and decently knowledgeable about plants and fungi. Just starting to get into mosses, and I've got my sights set on lichens as well (and insects and grasses and slime molds and birds and liverworts and diatoms and...). Graduated with a botany BS from Humboldt State University in 2021. Currently unemployed and looking for a botany or other biology job (preferably horticultural but open to other things) locally in Humboldt County where I live - let me know if you have any leads! Planning to stick around here for the next couple of years because it is quite nice but my long term goal is to work at a botanical garden, dream situation with rare plants but to be working at a botanical garden period would make me very happy.
