Have been a nature girl since I was born! A birder for 45 years; leading field trips, doing bird surveys, and educating folks about birds in Maryland and Florida. Also a lifetime flower and vegetable gardener. Most recently, volunteering at American Chestnut Land trust in Calvert County, MD as part of a small team that manages an Herb Garden, a Flower Garden, and a Cut Flower Garden. It's hard to be around flowers without noticing the insects that they attract! Hence my recent dive into the world of insects. I'm still learning about these fascinating and vital creatures.
