As the Natural Resource Specialist for Maricopa County Parks. I create the project Maricopa County Parks EcoBlitz. Al the data that is collected within one of our 12 parks provides real time species data and is used in the park Eco-database. It also informs us to which species are in common in the parks, and which are not. Over time we may be able to use this information to see trends of climate change effects, or if our habitat enhancement projects are effective. It give us a better understanding of the native biodiversity we have within the the park system.
