My entire life, my favorite place has been outside, in the woods and fields. So much to see and observe.

I have a BS in Natural Resources, from the University of Michigan. For a while, I was the Director of River Bend Nature Center, in Racine, Wisconsin.

After retiring from paid work, I rode my bicycle 4,300 miles from San Diego , CA to Rochester, NY. An epic journey that highlighted the beauty of the natural world and the people that lived along the route.

Currently, I am a volunteer at Cumming Nature Center, in Naples, New York.
