Growing up in south-central rural Ontario set the stage for my life-long love of nature. A diploma in Environmental Engineering and a B.Sc. degree in Ecology was followed by a diverse career of academic research including entomology and sustainable agriculture, genetics R&D in a biotech setting, and environmental consulting, eventually landing in a nice pond with Ducks Unlimited Canada as a Project Inventory Coordinator.
