I have been active in the Houston permaculture and native plant community for several years. I am getting much better at identifying native and exotic plants that volunteer in my developing urban wildscape. As my natives become more established, I am observing more insect and other creatures and learning to identify those as well. I am currently working with neighborhood groups to identify species along hike and bike trails.
