Nature nerd from the midwest with a special passion for living dinosaurs (birds) and reptiles. Graduated with a Masters in Paleontology from the University of Iowa. I have been keeping a life list of every wild vertebrate animal I've seen for the past seven years or so. Avid photographer trying to document every species of vertebrate I can find. Starting in 2019 I set a personal goal to see 100 new species every year. 2023 is off to a great start with 195 new species so far, the last being California Condor!
