I am a 23-year-old Journalist and Political Researcher hailing originally from East Texas. I have no classical training as a botanist but have become one by pure accident (that being said, there are many who know more than I). My principal interest is in the various habitats across the state of Texas, the Southeastern US, Mexico, and the Neotropics

I am an aspiring Ph.D. in Comparative Politics and hope to research and deconstruct far-right populism, nationalism, and fascism and the material conditions that these phenomena create. Of course, researching climate and conservation policy will play a huge role in this. Feel free to tag me in any observations!
