I have loved the outdoors since I was a kid, hunting, fishing and boating all over Texas. This gradually expanded to birding, wildflowers and insects. Now retired, my wife and I spend time nearly every day exploring here on the south Texas coast, looking for any interesting flora and fauna. We have made a one year long journey all around the US in our RV but have now made Riviera, TX our home. My career included bank management, restaurant management, sailboat building, heavy equipment operator, computer technical support and HR software support and development. My camera is a Nikon P900 which has a built in 83X zoom (2000 mm equivalent).
