I'm a volunteer naturalist -- I love learning all about the bees, birds, bugs, and bogs of the world, and I love sharing that with others. I lived in Portland, Oregon for 4 decades; Carmel, Indiana for almost 3 years; and now I'm in Santa Cruz with my spouse of 22 years. I am a birder, gardener, sports fan, wash tub bass player, and a retired minister.
