I am a biologist and conservationist who has been living and working in China and adjacent countries for about 25 years out of the past 27 years. I work for the China Exploration & Research Society. In the summer, we bring groups of foreign students to China and Myanmar to introduce them to the natural environment and minority cultures of remote regions. I also work on protected area management and community based conservation projects.
