The results are in!

Boulder-Denver citizen scientists, thank you for making the 2019 City Nature Challenge an absolute success!

The results are in, and as of 9:00am on May 6th, we had:
6,211 total observations, 970 species observed, 406 observers, and 259 identifiers. Of those stats, 5,830 observations and 929 species were verifiable, and 2,479 observations and 389 species were listed as research grade. All thanks to YOU!

Of the 159 cities that competed in this year's CNC, Boulder-Denver placed 43rd for Total Number of Observations, 47th for Total Number of Species Observed, 33rd for Total Number of Participants, and 2nd for Most People in an Arid Climate. Woohoo!
