there will be more stuff and stats next week, I had to pare this down to get it out the door. I'm feeling partially better, by tomorrow I should be well again.
the prizes are different each week. although, I think if we see the same people winning too many in a row I may give prizes to the next rank down or something.

Also yes, mystery categories should absolutely have prizes! I am happy to offer my services writing a terrible (I’m not being modest here, it will not be winning any literary awards) limerick in honour of the winner next week.
I really want to thank you for putting this together blue and the rest of the team for their work, I've been enjoying IDing for something more satisfying than seeing 201k observations go down to 200k (or how it sometimes feels going "down" to 202k).
I went to the unknown seminar on discord, even though I was not sure how valuable it would be for me. There was great tips and I'm glad I went. Unfortunately I'm going to confuse people now when I refer to spiders as AW from now on.

Knowing I'm providing a little sense of joy and community is more than enough for me. And by getting y'all to ID Unknowns it feels like I'm getting someone to do my homework for me 😂

Blue, First off, let me say Thank You to you and the team, for all you have done and are doing to make this happen. As a novice I am happy to help out and be a part of the ID-a-thon. As for prizes - I'm "playing for Pride not Prize :-)
